Our Heart's Cry
The first written song that is used for worship in my church,

Title story...
This is my FIRST song ever written and used for worshiping in church. I was still young then.... with my humble little guitar and rusty strings, I was really poor then and wanted to do something different for God. At that time, writing a song in church was a big deal because no one has ever done it before!!! And for church to sing the song, the Lord has shown me this new gift that I have found in Him. This was the beginning journey of my song writing passion for God. Not only did this song was sang, it has touches many lives then, it was written to encourage the extreme 1 year young church to have faith in God that He will guide and provide for our small church then. With very lack of resources, we can also do big things because we have a big God.

Since this song was written, it was the first church written song and has encouraged more new inspirations from other more talented backgrounds to write songs for God too. God actually uses me to kick start song writing for church worship! Knowing my background, at that time, I couldn't hear properly and was fully relying on my hearing aid to catch tune and music. But the Lord is merciful on me and even blesses a almost deaf person with hearing problems to play for Him and write songs for Him.

Looking back, I am so amazed by His works in my life and cannot imagine that I can ever be a musician with hearing problems! The Lord has showed me His kindness and what He can do through all impossible situations. This keep my faith growing and since then, I never stop writing songs for God despite my hearing disabilities. Although writing songs was very very very difficult for me, I never stop trying. By the way, every time I start writing a song, it takes months and even years to complete!! Even my simplest song take me at least 6 months because I can't just produce music so easily like many others. I know I can be a testimony to many who want to praise God this way too. My physical limitation is not God's limitation for nothing is impossible for my God.
My hearing of music was even more sensitive than before now and I can play simply by looking at drum's kick even though I cannot hear what's going on around the stage, the swinging of guitarist, bouncing fingers of pianist, the drummer sticks swinging is my actual metronome in playing with the team... though I can't hear much on stage, I always managed to play with the team cause I know the tune and pitching of chords is in my head and heart, I want to use my limitations to worship God, I want to write songs for Him and I want to believe that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength... thank you God...

Our Heart's Cry
Verse1
We offer our lives to You Lord
Come live in our hearts for they are Yours
This is our prayer unto You

Verse 2
Draw us nearer to Your face
Reveal to us Your holy ways
This is our cry O Lord
Show us, fill us, guide us with Your love

Chorus
Come and fill our land
With Your spirit and truth
May Your presence heal our land Lord
We will seek your face
And thirst for your way
Not our will but Yours be done Lord
Will You use our faith
To glorify Your name
To sing hallelujah! Praise the Lord
To shout hallelujah! Praise the Lord
To cry hallelujah! Praise the Lord
All the earth
